A special course on NCF- 2005 was organized on 14th and 15th Nov. 2009 at Vidyalaya campus. Mr. M.L. Beniwal, Principal inaugurated the course and explained the guiding principles of NCF- 2005. Mr. Mahendra Kalra, Mr. P.K. Chouhan, Mrs. Nidhi Mehta and Mr. O.P. Vaishnav were the Resourse Persons of the course.

Cricket Match

An interesting Cricket match was organized between the staff members and vidyalaya’s student cricket team on 31/10/09.

UNO Day

The UNO day was celebrated in the vidyalaya on 24/10/2009, Mr. M.C. Solanki, TGT (SST) delivered a speech on structure and working of United Nation Organization. Mr. M. Kalra, PGT (Chem.) asked the general questions on United Nations, which were answered by the students of school in the morning assembly.

Parent Teacher Meeting

A PTA meeting was conducted in the Vidyalaya for the slow learners of class X and XII on 13/10/2009. Around 40 parents visited the Vidyalaya to meet the principal, class teachers and subject teachers of their ward. The principal personally interacted with each parent to listen their ward problems related to subject and gave valuable suggestions to improve their ward studies.

A Hindi poem competition was conducted on 24/09/09 in the vidyalaya on the occasion of Hindi Pakhwara. The students from class VI to XII participated in the competition. Mr. S.C. Meena, PGT (Hindi), Mr. N.S. Rathore, Librarian and Mr. Ashish Shiringi, Drawing Tr. were the judges. Mr. Mahendra Kalra co-ordinated the programme.

The school Annual Panel Inspection was held on 22/09/09. Mr. N.K. Bhardwaj, E.O, KVS (RO), Jaipur, Mr. K.R. Choyal, Principal, K.V. Utarlai, Mr. D.D.P.S. Shaktawat, Principal, K.V. Banar, Jodhpur and Dr. J.K. Singh, Vice Principal, K.V.No.1, Jodhpur were the team members. The inspecting team appreciated the Scout and Guide activities, Programs of Morning Assembly and Teaching Learning Process of class rooms. They also advised that quantum of Home Work must be increased with proper correction work.

An Ashu Bhashan Partiyogita was conducted on 19/09/09 in the vidyalaya on the occasion of Hindi Pakhwara. Two students from each house participated in the competition. Mr. S.C. Meena, PGT (Hindi), Mr. L.R. Meena, TGT (Sanskrit) and  Mr. H.B. Malav, TGT (Hindi) were the judges. Mr. Mahendra Kalra co-ordinated the programme.

The school level Science Exhibition was conducted in the school on 10/09/09 in the Biology Lab. The projects were displayed by the students on the basis of six themes, namely: Climate Change –Causes & Consequences, Green Energy, Biology in Human welfare, Information & Communication Technology, Mathematics & Everyday life and Science & Technology in Games and Sports. Mr. M.L. Beniwal, Principal visited the exhibition and motivated the students. The following models were selected for Regional Level Science Exhibition, Jaipur by the panel of judges: Reduction Of CO2 in Atmosphere, Community Harnessing of Green Energy, Laminar Flow Bench, Client Server Architecture, Projectile motion in Javelin Throw & Shot-put and Advantage of Streamlining in cycling.

Teacher day was celebrated in the school on 05/09/09. The function started with tribute to Dr. Radha Krishnan by the Principal, teachers and students of the vidyalaya. The students of class XII played the role of teachers and taught the students from class I to XI. At the end, the best student teachers were selected by the panel of judges on their performance in class teaching.

The students from class VIII to XII were invited on 04/09/09 by the Chairman, VMC, Col. Virendra Dhatwalia, 19 Mech. Inf., Jalipa Cantt on the occasion of Silver Jubli of their unit.  The unit persons were showed Army parade and Tank parade and motivated the students to become an Army person for their nation. At last, refreshment was also given to both teachers and students in Army Mess.

Bharat Vikas Parishad, Barmer conducted a programme “Guru Vandan Chatra Abhinandan” in the Vidyalaya campus on 18.08.09.

Independence day was celebrated on 15.08.09 in a befitting manner in the vidyalaya. Col. Virendra Dhatwalia, 19 Mech Inf, Jalipa Cantt or Chairman, VMC was the Chief Guest of the function. Col. Virendra Dhatwalia hosted the National flag and took solute of the parade of four houses. Mr. M.L. Beniwal, Principal on this occasion said that, as true Indian, we have to serve nation and make the country corruption free. Mr. M. Kalra and Mr.Sunil Dadhich gave an inspirational commentary on that day.

The festival of Lord Krishna “Janmastmi” was celebrated by staff members in Vidyalaya colony on 14.08.09. The kids of staff were come in the costume of Lord Krishna and Radha. Various bhajans were also song and sweets & prizes are also distributed to kids.

A House Display Board Competition was conducted on 03/08/09 under the theme ‘My India’. Mr. N.S. Rathore, Mr. Ashish Shiringi and Mr. Dushyant Tripathi were the judges to the competition.

A quiz competition was organized for class IX to XII on 01/08/2009. The topic of quiz was ‘My India’. The quiz having 6 rounds namely History, Geography, Civics, Mixed Bag (Games, Culture, Science), Music and Rapid Fire Round. Mr. M.L. Beniwal was the Chief Guest of the program. Mr. Mohd Hashim and Mr. J.S. Rathore were the scorer of the competition. Mr. M. Kalra coordinated the program as Quiz Master.

A PTA meeting was conducted in the Vidyalaya for class I to XII on 31/07/2009. Around 350 parents visited the Vidyalaya to meet the principal, class teachers and subject teachers of their ward.

A Vidyalaya level Social Science Exhibition was organized for class VI to XII on 31/07/2009. The exhibition was inaugurated by C.O. Rajpal Singh, 163 Bn. BSF, Barmer. The students prepared various attractive models, charts, write ups and maps on famous places of Karnatka and Nepal. It was held under the proper guidance of Sh. M.L. Beniwal, Sh. P.K. Chouhan, Sh. R.S. Shekhawat, Sh. Y.K. Meena and Sh. M.C. Solanki, Sh. Ashish Shiringi and Sh. Girish Dutt.

 An on the spot painting competition was conducted for class I to XII on 18/07/2009. The topics of the painting are scenes of nature, save the environment, conservation of energy, monsoon season, festivals of India. The competition was judged by Mr. Ashish Shiringi, Mrs. Preeti Sharma and Mr. Girish Dutt.

A walk-in interview was conducted on 07.07.09 for PGT (Commerce), TGT(English), Games Coach, Spoken English Teacher and Craft Teacher to prepare a panel for the session 2009-10.

A test of all the teachers on National Curriculum Framework- 2005 was conducted on 04.07.2009.

 A House Meeting of all the houses were conducted on 04/07/2009 to select various house captains & volunteers and to discuss about all the activities to be performed during the session 2009-10.

An English and Hindi Calligraphy Competition was organized for class I to XII on 27/06/2009.

A surprise visit was made by honorable Dr. K.P. Chamola, Assistant Commissioner, KVS (R.O), Jaipur on dated 28/04/2009 to observe and inspect the all round activities going in the vidyalaya. He congratulated Mr. Dushyant Tripathi, Music Tr. and Mr. Ashish Shiringi, Drawing Tr. For their outstanding contribution to the school and KVS.

The Annual Day Function 2009 was celebrated on 24 April 2009. Lt. Col. D.K. Bisht, Nominee Chairman, VMC was the Chief Guest and Mrs S. Dhatwalia was the Guest of Honour. Mr. M.L. Beniwal, Principal welcomed all the Guests & Parents and presented the annual report of the vidyalaya. The programme was started with Esh Vandana and followed by action dance of primary, nursery rhymes, Hindi & English Skit, Narad Leela and Dance of India (13 dances of different states). Mrs. S. Dhatwalia gave away the prizes to meritorious students. All the items were prepared under the expert guidance of Mr. Dushyant Tripathi, Music Teacher and staff members of the vidyalaya. Mr. Mahendra Kalra and Mr. Sunil Dadhich coordinated the programme.

A spelling contest was organized in the vidyalaya on 21/04/2009. The students selected in this contest represented the school at cluster level at K.V. BSF, Jodhpur.

Mr. M.L. Beniwal joined this Vidyalaya as Principal on 01.04.2009.

Surprise Visit of Education Officer

A PTA Meeting for class X was conducted on 05/01/09 and for class XII was conducted on 06/01/09. The meeting was organized by Sh. B.N. Jajoria, PGT (Hindi) and Sh. Sher Singh, TGT (English). The principal and subject teachers delivered their views to parents for getting good marks in Board Exam- 2009.

Scouts & Guides Foundation Day

The Scouts & Guides Foundation Day was celebrated by the Scouts and Guides of the vidyalaya in a colorful and befitting manner on 07/11/2008. The various cultural activities were organized in this occasion at the Vidyalaya.

The NAEP Speech Competition on “Bad Effects of Smoking to Youths” was conducted on 02/08/2008. Mr. R.K. Prajapati, PGT (Physics), Mr. M. Hashim, PGT (Comp. Sc.) and Mrs. S. Kavita, PGT (Biology) were the judge of the program. The program was coordinated by Mr. Mahendra Kalra, PGT (Chemistry) and Mr. B.N. Jajoria, PGT (Hindi). The Shastri House secured first position, Tagore House secured second position and the Raman House secured third position. The Chief Guest of the function was Mr. P.K. Chouhan, PGT (Geog.), of the Vidyalaya.

An admission test was conducted on 07/07/2008 and 08/07/2008 from class II to X for fresh admission to vacant seats in the session 2008-09.

The Solo Dance Competition was conducted on 05/07/2008. Mr. Dushyant Tripathi, Music Teacher, Mr. M. Hashim, PGT (Comp. Sc.) and Mrs. Maya V. Nair, TGT (English) were the judge of the program. The program was coordinated by Mr. Mahendra Kalra, PGT (Chemistry). The Raman House was the winner in the category of class I to V and IX to XII & the Shastri House was the winner in the category of class VI to VIII. The Chief Guest of the function was Mr. R.S. Sanghi, Principal, of the Vidyalaya.

The month of May was the month when results of CBSE classes i.e. Class X & XII was announced. The result of Class XII was announced on 21-05-2008 with pass percentage of 91.8% whereas the result of Class X was announced on 29-05-2008 with pass percentage of 91.4%. It is the matter of honour to the Vidyalaya that in both the classes the pass percentage of student was above 90% with a good number of students securing high percentage of marks.

The Annual Day Function 2008 was celebrated on 16 April 2008. Col. Atul Dhrampuri, Chairman, VMC was the Chief Guest and Mrs Sudha Dharampuri was the Guest of Honour. Mr. R.S. Sanghi, Principal welcomed all the Guests and Parents. The Gadhwali Dance, Krishan Leela, Hindi & English Skit, Tribal Dance, Garba Dance, Ramayan Rap, Bihu Dance, Kalbeliya Dance and Punjabi Dance etc. were the attraction of the function. All the items were prepared under the guidance of Mr. Dushyant Tripathi, Music Teacher. Mr. Mahendra Kalra, Mr. Sunil Dadhich and Mr. B.N. Jajoria coordinated the programme.

An interview was conducted on 31/03/08 to draw a select panel for the appointment of different categories of staff on Part Time Contractual Basis for the academic session 2008-09.

National Science Day

National Science Day was celebrated in the vidyalaya on 28/02/08. The Chief Guest of the function was Educationist, Philosopher and Principal of the vidyalaya Mr. R.S. Sanghi. A Inter House Science Quiz Competition was organized, which was conducted by Mr. Mahendra Kalra, PGT (Chemistry).

The chief guest and all science teachers of the vidyalaya gave a tribute to great scientist Dr. C.V. Raman. The Raman House secured first position and Ashoka House secured second in the Inter House Science Quiz Competition.

NAEP Parents Meeting

Various cultural programs were presented by the students of class XI in the honor of class XII at the occasion of farewell function on 20/02/2008 in the vidyalaya. Mr. R.S. Sanghi, Principal was the Chief Guest of the function. These programs were conducted by Mr. Mehul Kumar, PGT (English), Mr. B.N. Jajoria, PGT (Hindi) and Mr. Mohd. Hashim, PGT (Comp. Sc).
